The Pine Island Cemetery is managed by a board composed of city residents appointed by the City Council and consists of eight members. The board has six appointed voting members, one nonvoting City Council representative and one nonvoting Secretary who is elected by the Cemetery Board.
The board operates under City of Pine Island and State of Minnesota Statues regulating its powers and duties and in accordance with the Pine Island Cemetery Board Bylaws.
