IBM Volunteer group painted our garage!

Thanks to the generous volunteer work of IBM-EeTS AJ85 staff and Wrght Nee the cemetery garage is respectable again. The IBM volunteers were here early Friday morning September 29th and we all were hoping the rain would hold off as this had been postponed once for rain. They scraped and cleaned the old paint layers and were soon applying a new white coat to the outside of our utility garage. The old siding sucked up paint like a sponge and they soon finished applying 4 gallons of white paint. By the time I returned about noon, they were gone and I didn’t have an opportunity to thank them. We hope the whole community appreciates the great value of their work and The City of Pine Island along with The Pine Island Cemetery Board would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU TO them.
